Organise a meeting of your group and talk with Venezuelans live over the internet.
FOR FREE.
With the rise of some new technology it has now become time and cost efficient to conduct joint conferences with solidarity groups via the internet. We are now offering these joint conferences to groups in Britain and USA with an interest in having 2-way conferencing with leaders in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
The obvious benefit of these conferences is to give people the opportunity of having direct, 2-way (5 way max) contact with people they would never otherwise meet in Venezuela. You can have a conference from remote locations and have an opportunity to engage in a discussion.
You can hold these conferences following the showing of a film, for example, the excellent documentry "The Revolution Will Not Be Televised" - the 2003 film documentary on the 48 hour coup d'etat in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
What you will need to participate in these international conferences:
1) Computer (desktop or laptop)
2) Broadband access to the Internet
3) Microphone - preferably on a long lead for easy use
4) Amplification in the room using speakers (as opposed to headset).
5) Either linux or Microsoft Windows
Contact with participants in Venezuela can be arranged for your group. Excellent bi-lingual interpreters can be provided. In the case of a trade union or NGO the suggested donation is £150 ( for the translation). In the case of a private showing or solidarity group, voluntary donations can be agreed. Please talk to us. Our purpose in conducting these international conferences is to:
Build links between Trade Unions of Venezuela and workers worldwide
Learn from Venezuela's experience of democratic revolution
Promote solidarity work
Donations will be used to develop solidarity.
